By Jim Karygiannis MP:
In 2010, I had the pleasure of introducing Motion M-505 in the Canadian House of Commons, which recognized the actions of Saddam Hussein against the Kurds, as a crime against humanity. The time has come for us to ask that these actions, including the Anfal Campaign and gassing of the Kurds in Halabja, be recognized as genocide.
I am asking you to join me, community stakeholders, members, friends and leaders of the Kurdish Community as we call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs to recognize these crimes against humanity as genocide.
Jim Karygiannis is the Liberal Member of Parliament for Scarborough-Agincourt, Canada.
Thank you!
Rcognize the Kurdish Genocide by Saddam
emza
the Anfal Campaign and gassing of the Kurds in Halabja, be recognized as genocide
thanks!
This great evil cannot go unrecognised!
In recognition of Kurds genocide to the international family The Kurdistan Tribune is as necessary as the oxygen we breath for Kurds.
The Anfal campaign was a genocide!
The current administration in Iraqi Kurdistan pardoned the mercinary Kurds (Jash) who participated in Anfall crimes alongside Iraqi army. Also the current Kurdish leaders objected to implementation of death sentences against main perpetrators of Anfall crimes including senior Baath Arab offices. If this is the attitude of Kurdish leaders, how can you expect the international community to have any respect for Kurds!
I hope this recognition is going to bring some sense of peace and justice to the victims, their families and the humanity in its entirety.
