Women in the People’s Protection Units defend Rojava: a photo story

November 2013, Rojava / Syria: Our first photo shows a People’s Protection Unit (YPG) fighter on the outskirts of the town of Tirbespiye, taking up her position while defending her town from attacks by the jihadists of the al-Nusra Front and ISIS:

    Image is very beautiful because of which show resistance to Kurdish women in Syria and journalist Rudi Mohammed Amin, who has a perception of these images are very talented and is known for his work and move events in Rojava

    You’re brave, honorable; you are the flowers that beautify the Kurdish mountains, valleys and blankets our fields. You are making the history as we speak by defending our honor, soil and land. No other movements that I have read, heard or remember have contributed so much towards their land and people.
