The Evil Mind

Beyan Farshi

By Beyan Farshi:

I never had the intention to be involved in politics. As far back as I remember, all kinds of negativities seemed to be hidden within politics: things like treason, inequality, captivity, imprisonment, war, killing, slavery, confinement, restraints and many more. However, as a Kurd you can’t escape from politics. Thanks to our history, our life from the very first day on is in a tight relationship with politics. As a human being you cannot be silent when your friends and neighbors are arrested for thinking outside the box. You cannot be silent when your family members are put on death row. You cannot be silent when people are executed for so-called crimes (such as trading soap and shampoo!), and you cannot turn away when young people are executed for being culturally active.

You cannot avoid politics when all forces and mighty European and Middle Eastern powers divide your nation and your land; when you are forced to live in a framework that is completely alien to your roots and culture; when you are marked as uncivilized, wild, murderous and inferior to the ruling nations.

It seems to me as if we are going through the medieval era and the guillotine devices are executing innocent young members of my nation for treason against God! However, it’s not the medieval era, it is Iran in 21st century governed by a religious group hiding behind their, so-called, God, and committing crimes against humanity. Killing and executing people of minorities, stealing the natural resources and investing it in their own regions, destroying the historical sites, and any signs of the long-lasting history – these are just a few examples of the thousands of crimes that have been committed in Kurdistan. Perhaps executing people on the pretext of their being God’s enemy is the greatest absurdity ever heard, but unfortunately is a dark truth in occupied Kurdistan.

In the past few months, since Iran’s new president was elected, more two hundred people have been executed in Kurdistan behind closed doors – without trial, lawyers, and even informing their families. Young Kurdish intellectuals and social activists are executed because they are considered a threat to the Islamic regime. Young Kurdish breadwinners who have no other way of supporting their families but crossing the borders are killed in silence.

The Iranian Islamic regime has taken away everything from Kurdistan: all natural resources and mines are dug out and transported to the center to improve and develop their economy, bloom their cities, and provide them a better, more comfortable way of life. The trees are cut down, the forests are put on fire, and deliberately no factories are built for the purpose of creating poverty, famine and dependency in Kurdish cities, because they believe the poverty prevent thoughts from flourishing.

There are no basic human rights in Kurdistan, no right to read, write and study in the mother tongue, to choose a Kurdish name for new-born babies, to practice cultural ceremonies … and the list continues. in fact, not a singe right mentioned in the International Declaration of Human Rights is respected in Kurdistan.  If you are familiar with Middle Eastern ancient history, you will recognize the similarities between the glorious period of the Persian Empire and today’s Iranian Islamic Regime. The Persian Empire was built on telling lies, committing crime, and shedding blood. shedding. This has been the famous Persian strategy from the ancient times until now and their glory is built on dead bodies. No wonder that when they are in danger, they leave everything behind since they don’t really own it and it is not a real victory to be kept safe and to die for.

I salute all young innocent souls and young thinkers who have been executed during the last 35 years of Islamic dynasty, and I will keep their memory in my heart and thoughts.

An honest man /woman with the right set of mind ,would make a perfect a judge ,but can hardly make a perfect, honest politician. You are honest if you speak the truth .However when you speak the truth remember that you would always have to prepare yourself for the fact that by speaking the truth ,you put yourself in danger because you would make thousands of foes if not millions for yourself as your truth would always mean exposing and uncovering the lies ,dishonesty ,deceptions treason ,crimes and conspires of millions of sly devil lairs, including the Iranian politicians.

Thanks Mr. Kuvan Bamarny for your feedback. By all means, I am not a politician and I don’t have the right tools for it. I only try to put in words what I’ve seen and see without dressing them up. Thanks again for your opinion!

‘You cannot avoid politics when all forces and mighty European and Middle Eastern powers divide your nation and your land’………………………..So why is it that nationalists turn to the superpowers in times of need? They hate Kurds. Kurds are nothing but ‘useful idiots’ for the West.

Thank you Mr. Omar for sharing your thoughts. I am afraid I can’t answer your question from a political point of view. However, as far as I understand, that’s just part of a political game. We have been and are physically and mentally under the influence of occupiers because we had & have the capacity for it and at some point we showed them the green light. It can be sweitched over at any time if and only if we unite as a voice to achieve our basic rights as a nation, which is not “too much” and “not strange” and “not fanatical”. Thanks again!
