Yesterdays’s meeting in Baghdad between Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) prime minister Nechirvan Barzani and Iraq prime minister Nuri Maliki has failed to resolve the recently escalated dispute  between the KRG and the Iraq central government over oil revenues and the federal budget. However, more talks are planned and the Iraq government is due to send new proposals to the KRG for consideration. Nechirvan Barzani has proposed that the next round be held in Erbil.

Sunday’s meeting also discussed the security situation in Iraq which has further deteriorated with the advances made recently by Al-Qaeda linked groups in Ramadi and Fallujah.

If Al-maliki is so smart, he should try to improve the living condition of Iraqis. Where and how the rest of 83% of budget is spent?

The latest “demand” rom al-Maliki and al-Sharistani gang is to wind down the KOMO and let SOMO has the solely responsibility for pricing kurdish oil and manage kurdish oil customers. It is so hard to trust in those guys that it is just impossible to deal with them. The only language they understand is Power and determination.
