Talabani lambasts Maliki

KT News:

Jalal Talabani

President of Iraq Jalal Talabani was sharply critical of Iraq prime minister Nuri Al-Maliki today. Talabani told Al-Arabiya TV that: “Nuri Maliki either has to change himself or else his list has to change him”.

Referring to the stand-off in the disputed territories between Kurdish peshmerga and Iraqi troops, Talabani said that he was opposed to the creation of the Iraqi ‘Dijla Operations Command’ forces and that this should have been authorised by himself, as Iraq’s president, and not by the prime minister.

Talabani added that the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is unhappy about Maliki’s weapons purchases from Russia because it believes these weapons could be used against the Kurds. “That is why we want coordination between Baghdad and Erbil on these issues”, he said.

Talabani is a legendary hypocrite. Wasn’t he the one who refused to give his vote to impeach Malik? Talabani is a puppet of Iran and has never had a very clear way of life: just jump on any rope that comes your way. It is actually time for both Talabani and Maliki to pack their bags and go sit at the feet of the Khamini.

President Talabani: Stop lambasting Maliki. Instead, start cooperating with president Nawshirwan Mustafa and president Barzani and leaders of other Kurdish political parties and come up with some shrewd ideas and strategies to declare an independent Kurdish state!

It is on the cards if you slightly insist!

Like every other Kurdish leader, Nashirwan enjoys the backing of a large number of adherents.

Ostracizing him and the leaders of smaller Islamic parties will only culminate in further schism.

Together they should work for Kurds and Kurdistan, or all of them should step down! A complete change of system.

That is what I strongly believe!

Nisherwan Mustafa is no different from Barzani and Talabani. They are all traitors. Gorran deserves better than Nisherwan
