Is Nawshirwan Mustafa full of anger?

 By Hamma Mirwaisi:

Gorran leader Nawshirwan Mustafa

A Kurdish politician from South Kurdistan wanted, as one of its founders, to reform his political party, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK). However, he was forced out by the warlord Jalal Talabani and then formed his own party – Gorran, the Change Movement – like many other Kurdish politicians, all forming political parties to make their livings.

I used the headline to this article to grab readers’ attention, especially Kurdish readers. Kurdish faces often show anger instead of happiness. This tells you that Kurds are suffering from internal and external abuses. Is he angry with Kurdish people? Is he angry with his former friend Talabani? Is he angry with his fate to be a Kurd?

By looking at Kak Nawshirwan Mustafa’s face, you think immediately that he must be frustrated with what is going on in Kurdistan. We all feel like him. The only happy faces in Kurdistan are the faces of Massoud Barzani, Jalal Talabani and the people supporting them who are involved in corruption. Indeed, collecting large amounts of money from corruption schemes without having to work for it can make only arrogant people happy.

Every Kurd should ask this question: Why have we not had an independent country for more than 2,500 years since the collapse of the Median Empire?

Recently I read a call from Dr. Kamal Mirawdeli who had dared to run against Massoud Barzani in the election for the President of the Kurdistan Region. He was calling on Kurds to unite against the unjust practices of the Barzani and Talabani families in Kurdistan.

The question is: Why we are not successful in replacing dictators Barzani and Talabani with people like Kak Nawshirwan Mustafa or Dr. Kamal Mirawdeli – just as we have not succeeded in winning freedom for more than 2,500 years?

It is easy to answer this question. The answer is that neither Kak Nawshirwan Mustafa nor Dr. Kamal Mirawdeli really have any different program to Barzani and Talabani’s programs.

The entire Kurdish people are against unjust practices by the Barzani and Talabani families in Kurdistan. We are many thousands of people, inside and outside Kurdistan, but without a plan to dethrone the Barzani and Talabani Sheiks.

President Thomas Jefferson of America used the life story of Cyrus the Great (the Emperor of the Median Empire) and the Federalism plan of General Harpagus (one of the Median Army generals used his plan in Lycia, part of today’s Turkey) to help him write the American constitution.

President Thomas Jefferson of America used our Kurdish heritage to write the American constitution. Why are we Kurds who oppose the Barzani and Talabani dictatorship not smart enough to adopt the American constitution as our own constitution for Kurdistan? It is part of our heritage.

The problem lies in the mentality of the middle east in that as soon as a revolutionary leader comes to power he starts the same practices as of his predecessors.

Goran should deliver too , fair elections of party representative and most certainly change of leadership. Nawshirwan should not hang to first position until the grave .

Goran has to deliver too . It is time for a transparent and open leadership contest . Nawshirwan must not hang on number one position to the grave . If he is wise he will let mature youth run the show . But power has its seduction.

    Kak Ari Ali

Kurdish people should be recognized as number one in the World for the production of “dictators” in the history.
They know how to follow and kill one another for so called leaders.

Today is 36 years passing for me and thousand of Kurdish to be in exile because of Kurdish war.

Mullah Mustafa was in exile only for 13 years. Barzani family is reminding Kurdish people every day for his heroism.

As Kurds, we have long way to go, to be normal like other nation.

Even if Kak Nawshirwan Mustafa does not want to be dictator, but Kurds will make him dictator and he will be replaced by his son too.

We should be ashamed of ourselves not those who are abusing us and running our lives.

I hope we will have many people to think like you
We need to follow constitution not dictators.

Free election and rule of laws should be our goal

Let say death to dictators and their supports

    Dear Sir
We should not forget that the scholarship of those who call themselves leaders are a school of dyarchy, nepotism, tyranny, despotism and more.

Let’s see what they have done during a 21 years of govenering this part of the World namely Kurdistan. almost nothing.
if we had not the Iragi dogwatch, they even sold the hole country to neighborings country like Iran & Turkey,
    “SO” Mirwaisi
You are a vice man with a history of fight for your nation, im sure that you lost a lot of beatutiful and priceless moment in your live.
and What is the difference between you and them, its quite obvious for allmost every KURDS. That you are a man with VIRTUE and they are a colourless creature like water without any trace of humanity,
    OK
Should we give upp? of course not. Every dictator siting on the throne or grabbing about 40-45 years. They reached halv way but the rest laying on peoples shoulder like YOU. FIGHTERS LIKE YOU which are graduate from a school of humanity, understandig the art of governing and bliver of the contemporary philosophy.

I do belive that we should not concentrating our effort to choose and be more subjective rather than objectivit.
