Kamal Mirawdeli to British Prime Minister: There is no crisis because it is our ISIS

By Kamal Mirawdeli:

Kurdish writer Kamal Mirawdeli has written a strongly-worded letter to British Prime Minister David Cameron:

In his letter Mirawdeli says:

  • I write in these strong words because I have nothing but words and know that words weigh up to nothing in your wonderful civilized world.
  • I am proud to be Kurdish and Yazidi, to be a Zoroastrian, the religion of Love and Reason that gave Good Thought, Good Words and Good Deeds to humanity as a very sophisticated moral universal existential system over 4000 years ago.
  • The SRR is using strategic drones, which provide an overview of the ground, and tactical drones which can look over the walls of buildings and provide sharp pictures of suspects’ faces.
  • Of course, you knew, saw and listened to the self-proclaimed Caliph of Islam Abu-Bakr Baghdadi when in the biggest and most famous mosques of Mosul declared the birth of his Caliphate in a 30-minute preaching and you cheered him on.

  • Of course, you knew and observed the murderous faces of Isis Jihadists, many British and French, when they rounded up, murdered and raped Christians of Nainawa and you cheered them on.
  • Of course, you knew and watched and felt excited when Isis convoys of armoured vehicles, Humvees and murderous hordes moved to Sinjar and chased 50,000 Yazidis up Sinjar Mountains and you cheered them on.
  • You destroyed nations, civilizations, societies and communities, economies, ecosystems infrastructures, institutions, ancient common human heritage leaving people displaced refugees in their own land, or alien migrants in neighbouring lands, or dying en masse resorting to any possible means in sea, on land, in hell to escape death, destruction, torture and poverty, and give impossible chances of stable life to their children.
  • Your drones are flying over Mosul, Sinjar, Tikrit and Raqqa while your indoctrinated British and French murderers continue their killing spree everywhere. Christian children, Kurdish children, Muslim children Shia and Sunni, are killed and are suffering daily, every moment of 24 hours.
  • But these children for you, it seems, are not human beings, not souls with right to survive, because They are Their Children, not Our children.
  • If you had been honest, the British-made Islamic jihadists, would not have advertised the sale of hundreds of Kurdish Yazidi girls as religious sex slaves (sabaya) on the Internet and the Times would not have glorified their crimes as it daily does.
  • Unless you consider the Yazidi girls as your daughters and sisters too, and do everything to save them from Islamist sexual slavery, sorry I cannot think of you as human beings let alone politicians and leaders.
  • US, UK and Turkey, three members of Nato, can finish Isis in both Syria and Iraq in days or weeks not months as Obama claims.
  • Your society and civilization which you boast about are fragile, based on vulnerable communications, utilities and weak technological infrastructure.
  • Tony Blair is right: a global alliance against Islamist nihilistic terrorist ideology and menace is urgently needed.
  • Show some global leadership and stop being a Pentagon puppet.

This is the complete text of Dr Mirawdeli’s letter:

H.E. Prime Minister David Cameron

Dear Prime Minister

There is no crisis, because it is our Isis: Islamic State, Kurds and Minorities

david-cameron_1735615c

UK prime minister David Cameron

I am writing with deepest sadness, disappointment, anger and despair regarding the new tragic situation emerging in Kurdistan and north of Iraq as a result of Isis’s sudden relentless drive of occupation, displacement, destruction and massacre amounting to acts of ethnocide as already indicated by both President Obama and John Kerry, the US Foreign Secretary. Yet, it is a kind of genocide that everyone seems happy to let it happen apart from some empty hypocritical rhetoric, as usual.

No doubt the immediate need is to deal with the humanitarian tragedy. The US has acted on this but unfortunately it was too little, too late, almost symbolic and shambolic. Thousands of people died, tens of thousands displaced with their homes occupied, looted or destroyed, hundreds of innocent girls are taken captive.  Whole communities face genocide. It is really sad, strange and shocking that when the causes of a man-made disaster of unprecedented scale is evident and it is possible to eliminate it and its conditions of possibility before it becomes more lethal and out of control, that causes and conditions are left actively destructive and some cosmetic operations are done to the dying victims.

It is common sense, simple logic, evident reality that the best way to save the Yazidi, Christian and other Iraqi communities as well eradicate the threat to the stability of  Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the lives of its population, and in fact the Middle East and the World, is to deal decisively with the ISIS marauding murderers. That the US and UK are reluctant to take decisive action against IS while hundreds of thousands, whole communities and cultures, are uprooted, massacred and threatened with genocide is something that has no rational, moral and political justification  particularly as this situation and the rise of ISIS is the direct result of the invasion of Iraq in 2003 by the US and Britain, the preparation and indoctrination of extremist Jihadists in the UK and other European countries and the consequences of Nato’s  action in Libya which led to the creation of destructive (not creative) chaos and the spread of deadly weapons all over West Africa and liberating sleeping lethal Islamist cells to come out and engage in murder and mayhem.

ISIS is now calling itself Islamic State, acts as a state and at least has military capacity of a state with the ruthlessness and relentless of mad murderers defying the conscience and morality of today’s feeble and dishonest Western leaders. But this state is not on Mars, its military structure, hardware, equipment, formations, convoys and communications are not located and enacted out of space. It is criminally dishonest if you even dare to claim that US, UK, Nato and Turkey do not have technology to monitor and pinpoint every move of ISIS murders and can destroy them before they commit their next murderous ghazwa , as they call it. Why can Israel do this against Hamas military leaders, why can’t you do this daily against ISIS mass murderers?

The Times (23 August 2014, p. 9) quotes a Free Syrian Army source describing Isis:

“They are just thugs, groups spread over the east of Syria and in the desert.” He warned striking cities ..risked collateral damage.  Isis resupply convoys were, however, vulnerable, he said, while on the roads and travelling across the desert. “They move artillery, tanks, Humvees in big convoys, they will be obvious.”

The Mail on Sunday (24 August 2014, p. 12) reveals in a report that: “GCHQ’s library is believed to include recordings of thousands of voices taken from phone and radio intercepts [of Isis jihadists)…Meanwhile, on the Turkish-Syrian border, SRR soldiers fly drones into IS strongholds and give live details of their movements….The SRR’s drones can fly for up 24 hours, climbing to an attitude of more than 18,000ft. From here they are able to survey hundreds of miles of territory occupied by IS fighters, including the city of Raqqa, where it is believed several Western hostages have been held…. A source added: ‘The SRR is using strategic drones, which provide an overview of the ground, and tactical drones which can look over the walls of buildings and provide sharp pictures of suspects’ faces.”

What does this mean?

Of course you knew and observed the murderous convoys of Isis when they moved on to occupy Mosul and you cheered them on.

Of course, you knew, saw and listened to the self-proclaimed Caliph of Islam Abu-Bakr Baghdadi when in the biggest and most famous mosque of Mosul declared the birth of his Caliphate in a 30-minute preaching rant and you cheered him on.

Of course, you knew and observed the murderous faces of Isis Jihadists, many British and French, when they rounded up, murdered and raped Christians of Nainawa and you cheered them on.

Of course, you knew and watched and felt excited when Isis convoys of armoured vehicles, Humvees and murderous hordes moved to Sinjar and chased 50,000 Yazidis up Sinjar Mountains and you cheered them on.

And now at this moment I write in an Iraqi town 17000 Shia Muslims are surrounded by Isis and are in danger of total genocide, you know this, it was on news on Skynews (evening 24 August 2014), you can watch and stop the Isis murderers but you watch and cheer them on.

Your reluctance to stop Isis reveals a deeper sinister dishonesty, the fact that UK, US, Turkey and perhaps Israel have been all the way behind the creation of ISIS and for whatever incomprehensible dark devilish reason they want to strengthen it despite the actual threat that they pose to civilized humanity all over the world as I am going to explain later.

It is obviously an act of criminal dishonest brainwashing of the British public that again you distort the seriousness of Isis massacres by focusing on the theatrical of finding the identity of so-called Jihadist John and strengthening your trivial laws [introducing Asbos!!) against internal extremism in Britain, while leaving tens of thousands of Christians, Yazidis and other Iraqis and Syrians suffering daily massacres, beheadings and at best enslavement and sexual exploitation. I explained in my previous letter, supported by facts, that it was impossible for Isis or any other terrorist Jihadist group to emerge or have the slightest chance of survival in Syria, let alone develop into a functioning state, if Turkey, with obvious support from Nato, had not facilitated and supported the process. Every terrorist passes through Turkey. Is it such an impossible task  to have them stopped and prevented from crossing to Syria, or to keep the list of names, photos and details of those that Turkey facilitate their murderous mission, and to share this intelligence with you, so that you know now who Jihadist John was, is? What a deceitful game!

Sir,

This is your world, your creation, a mono-polar world in which the values and norms of so-called Western civilization and democracy prevail and dominate.

I am British and proud of this and have lived in this country for over 30 years. I studied English literature, philosophy, economics and history but I cannot identify any period of Western history when great countries like UK, France and Italy, etc had such trivial shallow light-weight leaders with no global vision, sense of morality, humanity, dignity, integrity and responsibility of office and historical role.

Sometimes I wonder: is this really the same Europe of Renaissance, Enlightenment, Rationalism and Humanism?

Is this Britain of Bertrand Russell and Bernard Shaw?

It is a Europe that is sleep-walking into an era of self-destruction.

The ABC of great philosophical tradition of Europe tells us that every event, occurrence and phenomenon must be seen as a process: starting in a certain spatial-temporal context; and as a part of the Big Picture especially in our small global world.

But still you see ISIS and its criminal indulgence as different from Boko Haram which has committed and is continuing to commit the same crimes of killing, abduction and enslavement of women and has brought, through sheer barbarity a large country like Nigeria to its knees? In fact, imitating Isis it has created a Caliphate of its own.

And al-Shabab which in addition to its prolonged paralysation of Somalia, has in fact put Kenia under siege too.

And the crimes of indiscriminate killings in Central African Republic.

And without the intervention of France, Mali and most of West Africa would have by now been overrun by murderous fanatic gangs. In Libya, in Yamen, In Pakistan, in Afghanistan, in Thailand, In Philippines, In a Chinese province, in Burma, we witness the same practice of indiscriminate mass killings of innocent civilians incited by religious ideology, occasionally precipitating reciprocal acts of criminal massacres committed by rival ethnic or religious communities. The result is the same: the victimization of civilians and civil life entrapped in the dilemma of irrational death and destruction.

And now this ideology has a State, a centre, a Caliphate that embodies its nihilistic vocation and mission and inspires young fanatic Muslims all over Europe and Western countries.

Sir,

You invaded Afghanistan to stop al-Qaida being a threat to the West through its providing a base for and recruiting and training of terrorists.

You invaded and destroyed Iraq on the false pretext of weapons of mass destruction and links to al-Qaida.

You invaded and ruined Libya as a humanitarian mission and left it as a looting and killing field for Islamists, training ground for terrorists and open market for most sophisticated lethal weapons that has spread all over West Africa and finding their way to Middle East jihadists.

In all this you failed to understand the seriousness of the Processes you have triggered and the Big Picture of their interconnectedness in our small fragile global world, perhaps hoping that the problems you created will benefit the West, or just disappear or at least will not affect Europe and the West.

But this is an illusion. Sooner or later you will reap what you have sown unless you act soon enough to stop the inevitable.

You even wanted to completely destroy the Syrian regime the way you destroyed Libya, that is, destroying Syria as State, Society, Economy, Infrastructure and Institutions leaving it an open ruined field for Jihadist murderers.

If you had managed to completely destroy the Syrian State, you would have unleashed the hell: there would have been no Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan by now and even Saudi Arabia would have been in danger. Europe would have been shaken. You have done this job partially so far. But it seems you are adamant that this is a mission that needs to be accomplished.

Sir, it is your world. It is your exported barbarism in action.

All the countries you invaded in the names of democracy and human rights and fighting terrorism: Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, are the countries that have been turned into failed fragmented ruined states suffering from chronic conflict and bountiful bleeding. Countries that experienced so-called Arab spring revolutions like Tunisia and Egypt but did not suffer from your barbaric invasions are doing much better. But it is your moral responsibility to repair the colossal damage, and reconstruct what you have deconstructed.

You destroyed nations, civilizations, societies and communities, economies, ecosystems infrastructures, institutions, ancient common human heritage leaving people displaced refugees in their own land, or alien migrants in neighbouring lands, or dying en masse resorting to any possible means in sea, on land, in hell to escape death, destruction, torture and poverty, and give impossible chances of stable life to their children.

This is your civilized mission in 21st century, Sir.

And you are not ashamed of yourselves. And you continue this criminality as if nothing has ever happened, nothing is ever happening.

ISIS war criminals

ISIS war criminals

Your drones are flying over Mosul, Sinjar, Tikrit and Raqqa while your indoctrinated British and French murderers continue their killing spree everywhere. Christian children, Kurdish children, Muslim children Shia and Sunni, are killed and are suffering daily, every moment of 24 hours.

But these children for you, it seems, are not human beings, not souls with right to survive, because They are Their Children, not Our children.

This immoral inhumane dichotomy lies beneath and behind all the empty rhetorical humanitarian claims of Western culture since colonial ideology was born in Greek society.

The Other: Barbarians, Women, farmers, the poor, Children are not part of Our democracy.

Western culture has never been able to go beyond this immoral mental polarization.

Look what is happening in Gaza, in Ferguson, in Sinjar.

David Cameron recently wrote:

“Stability. Security. The peace of mind that comes from being able to get a decent job and provide for your family, in a country that you feel has a good future ahead of it and that treats people fairly. In a nutshell, that is what people in Britain want – and what the Government I lead is dedicated to building.

Britain – our economy, our security, our future – must come first.”

(Daily Telegraph, 16 August 2014)

Sir, This is what Every human being, every child, in every part of this world wants. And you are right to want this to your country. Bravo!

But is it right to achieve this for your country by depriving Other countries and societies of this basic condition of existence?

To invade countries, destroy civilizations, de-structure societies and create Isis-es and Talibans, and still think that only my people, my country, counts?

7 million Syrian people have been displaced, Christian communities decimated, one million children are homeless, sold and abused physically and sexually, a whole original pre-Islamic Zoroastrian community whose moral religion was the source of Judaism, Christianity and Greek philosophy, is being uprooted and eliminated. These all mean nothing to your distorted sense of humanity, patriotism and an inflated European Super-Ego which makes you blind even to the dangers of the abyss coming to your front door.

What makes Isis and Jihadist groups so ‘effective’?

It is simply what they do and how they do it. And your support for what they do and how they do it.

US, UK and Turkey, three members of Nato, can finish Isis in both Syria and Iraq in days or weeks not months as Obama claims.

Why don’t you ever talk about the Turkish role where all this happens under their eyes and nose?

But who destroys his own precious creation even if it is Frankenstein?

Why is Isis so powerful?  So successful, as British media constantly trumpet them?

Not because they are brave and ready to die. No, because they are cowards, but criminal cowards.

Because they instil fear. To achieve this they act in the most cowardly way. They kill the weakest in the most barbaric way. They kill those who are not protected and cannot protect themselves like Christians and Yazidis.  They kill those who can randomly brand as infidels deserving death, destruction and sexual slavery and there is no one to challenge their evil thought. No, not your government.

They kill and kill indiscriminately. They kill children, women, civilians and soldiers, individuals and groups using the most appalling methods of killings including beheadings, burying alive, torturous and humiliating killings, rape and enslavement, etc.

There are various video clips available online publicized by the Isis.

And only few fanatics are needed who can engage in indiscriminate killings in Cardiff, Birmingham. Or London, or Paris or Berlin to create this fear of humiliating barbaric death by those who know nothing but killing and more killing.

Your society and civilization which you boast about are fragile, based on vulnerable communications, utilities and weak technological infrastructure.

A terrorist act such as the Nairobi siege (18 October 2013), the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel terrorist attack (2008),  Boko Haram style killings and kidnapping and copycat terrorist actions of Isis, is enough to undermine the psychology of normal life in any European city. But normal life is undermined in many parts of the world by these acts and you do not give a damn.

But these are the kind of people you create, support or at least turn blind eyes to.

You think they can be your friends by making them enemy of your real or imaginary enemies.

You are generating, nurturing and indoctrinating these people right here in Britain and in Paris and in Berlin in thousands of Mosques and Madrasas.

Mosques create ideological extremists and the mob that support them and provide them with ideological sympathy and inexhaustible stream of jihadists.

That is what happened in Iran. The Shah and its Western backers thought that Iran was a modern secular state. But there was another more effective underworld country: mosques that were preparing people for the God’s state on earth. And the Underground world of mosques and mobs prevailed.

The Islamic jihadists have been committing these appalling massacres for over two years in Syria and now in Iraq and you have been silent, supporting spectators blaming Bashar Assad for everything.

You and Obama and Holland pretended to be outraged by the kidnapping of 270 Nigerian girls and kids by Boko Haram and pretended that you understand their plight because you had daughters too.

But this was a lie. If you and all Western leaders would have not been imposters or so impotent in their apparent effort to rescue the girls, you would have saved them by now and you would not have allowed the same barbaric ideology and practice to indulge in rape, murder and enslavement in Syria and Iraq.

If you had been honest, the British-made Islamic jihadists would not have advertised the sale of hundreds of Kurdish Yazidi girls as religious sex slaves (sabaya) on the Internet and the Times would not have glorified their crimes as it daily does.

http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/news/uk/article4186161.ece

I am British Sir, but these girls are my daughters, my sisters, my people.  I hoped you would too think as a human being, a global citizen, and consider them as your daughters too and act accordingly.

I am a powerless tormented soul but you are the leader and PM of Great Britain. I can cry and be angry; you can act and be effective and powerful or at least be an honest truthful decent citizen of the world. I write in these strong words because I have nothing but words and know that words weigh up to nothing in your wonderful civilized world.

I am proud to be Kurdish and Yazidi, to be a Zoroastrian, the religion of Love and Reason that gave Good Thought, Good Words and Good Deeds to humanity as a very sophisticated moral universal existential system over 4000 years ago.

All these graphic images of murder of children, beheading of soldiers and civilians, mass killings, etc. have not been powerful enough to scratch the surface of your cool consciences until a Westerner became the spectacle of slaughter. When you saw, thanks to your Isis-promoting Internet technology, how it looks to have the neck of a Westerner graphically cut by a 1500-year old Isis sword, your resurrected sword that have cut the throats of thousands of innocent human beings.

Only then Obama talks about “an act of violence that shocks the conscience of the entire world.”

But a global outrage of massacres, beheadings, rape and enslavement worldwide has not been noticed by the conscience of the world’s super hypocrites.

And Yvette Cooper feebly writes: ‘Isis extremists are beheading people and parading their heads on spikes, subjugating women and girls, killing Muslims, Christians and anyone who gets in their way. This is no liberation movement – only a perverted, oppressive ideology that bears no relation to Islam. ’

Liberation movement! Oh, God.

More hypocritically, Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond writes: ‘The brutal murder of the American journalist James Foley by Isil is a reminder to us all that Islamic extremism in Iraq and Syria is not only causing huge suffering in those countries but is also a barbaric ideology threatening us at home. Isil’s so-called caliphate has no moral legitimacy; it is a regime of torture, arbitrary punishment and murder that goes against the most basic beliefs of Islam. Its victims are unarmed civilians, both Muslims and minorities..Isil members are turning swathe of Iraq and Syria into a terrorist state as a base for launching attacks on the West.” !!!

[The Sunday Times, 24 August 2014, pp. 8 and 9]

OK. You invaded Afghanistan, and all Nato have been fighting there for 12 years because Taliban was a terrorist state providing a base for launching attacks against the West. What is Hammond going to do about Isis? About its barbaric ideology? About the cancer threatening the region as Obama describes it?

It seems it is just a benign cancer, like Ebola, consuming only remote communities and human beings. We do not need to over worry about it.

I do not want to comment on the feeble trivial hypocritical suggestions Mr Hammond makes to deal with the tragic situation in Iraq and Syria and tackling the barbaric actions and ideology of Isis. His feeble fumbling in the Sunday Times does not deserve a comment as it is beneath contempt. Hammond is definitely new to his job and has not had enough grooming to ‘come out’. He sounds like a frustrated homo who is undecided whether or not to come out and tie the knot with his Isis partner although the Law has established the legitimacy and normality of man-2-man marriage in this country the way you have legitimized Isis and its Caliphate. His rhetoric definitely suffers from a deep emptiness that is crying out to be filled in.

How strange and sad that in this age of global cruelty, the UK has such pathetic politicians!

There are more than one reason that it is the historical responsibility of UK and France to act for once morally and rationally in relation to Iraq and Syria.

First: these countries with their artificial borders are your artificial creation. They are Sykes and Picot’s illegitimate sates.

Then Britain and France are responsible for the failing state and political structures that emerged in these countries: Britain in Iraq and France in Syria and Lebanon.

Then Britain invaded Iraq with US in 2003, without any forward plan for the protection and reconstruction of post-Saddam Iraq.

You only brought to Iraq death, destructions, resurrected sectarian divide, corruption and the looting of oil.

Hammond says:” The likely involvement of a British citizen in last week’s horrific beheading is further proof of the threats we face from individuals who may carry our passports but do not share our values.’

WHAT ARE YOUR VALUES?

WHAT differentiates you from your British-made Isists?

And their British-Turkish made Caliphate?

Unless you consider the Yazidi girls as your daughters and sisters too, and do everything to save them from Islamist sexual slavery, sorry I cannot think of you as human beings let alone politicians and leaders.

And stop your criminal misguided pro-Us policies in Ukraine and Europe. Show some global leadership and stop being a Pentagon puppet.

Tony Blair is right: a global alliance against Islamic nihilistic terrorist ideology and menace is urgently needed. If the world acted earlier, the Holocaust would not have occurred in the heart of Europe. How many mini and major holocausts would the unstoppable rise of Islamic fascism, thanks to your misguided thinking and policies, would cause sooner or later? Who would be responsible?

“But what is absolutely necessary is that we first liberate ourselves from our own attitude. We have to take sides. We have to stop treating each country on the basis of whatever seems to make for the easiest life for us at any one time. We have to have an approach to the region that is coherent and sees it as a whole. And above all, we have to commit. We have to engage”.

“On this issue also, there is a complete identity of interest between East and West. China and Russia have exactly the same desire to defeat this ideology as do the USA and Europe. Here is a subject upon which all the principal nations of the G20 could come together, could agree to act, and could find common ground to common benefit.”

With my best regards,

Although I understand your article but it is totally incoherent. What exactly do you want to say?
For the sake of history the Kurds achievement now is thanks to US and the West in general or no? We must not forget the safe haven and entering Iraq. I find it strange you say that the invasion of Iraq was on false assumption that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Well, do you know about Halabga? Who bombed it with gas? At least as Kurds we must thank then for invading and destroying one of the most savages regimes the Kurds ever faced.
