ISIS attacks Kurds from inside Turkey

KT News:

ISIS has carried out two suicide bomb attacks today within Turkish territory, near the Mursitpinar border gate linking Turkey to Kobanê. The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said ISIS detonated an armoured vehicle at the border crossing at dawn and that clashes then broke out between the jihadists and Kurdish YPG forces. A second suicide bomber with an explosive vest later blew himself up in the same area, according to the Observatory. Clashes also broke out throughout Kobanê itself, and another car bomb was detonated to the south, said the Observatory.

ISIS gangs are reported to be based in the Turkish state agricultural depot (TMO), very close to the border gate, despite the huge Turkish military presence along the border.  ANF says Urfa Governor İzzettin Küçük has admitted to HDP MP İbrahim Ayhan that the ISIS gangs were on Turkish territory and had attacked Kobanê from there.

Rami Abdulrahman, the Observatory’s director, said at least 30 have been killed in today’s fighting so far. 21 of the dead were ISIS terrorists and the remaining nine were Kurdish fighters.

There has been no official comment so far from the Turkish authorities.

In stead of cooperating with international community to wipe IS out, Turkeys military is bombarding PKK fighters and Kurds in Syria.

What would be the consequences of unilateral Declaration of Independence in South if Obamas Admin does not officially announce support for an independent Kurdish state. Waiting for next US elections and change of administration will take too long. Isreal is the next option ( Plan B). Kurds must simultaneously consider other options on the table, as well, including unilateral decisions.
