Iraq waiting for Talabani to recover

News and Comment by The Kurdistan Tribune:

Lvinpress on Friday carried a report on the death of Iraq president and PUK leader Jalal Talabani, who was flown to a hospital in Germany last week suffering from severe heart and other health problems.

This report was immediately denied by a PUK spokesman who said that Talabani is alive and well and will soon be back to south Kurdistan.

People in Iraq are awaiting Jalal Talabani’s recovery. However, questions persist about what will happen to the PUK after its leader’s eventual death: To date, the party has no contingency plans for this.

    Answering Editor Question

Editor: Questions persist about what will happen to the PUK after its leader’s eventual death?

    Do not worry Mr. Editor

For over 2500 years (since the collapse of Median Empire), we Kurds have been learning one skillful trade how to betray one another.

Look up at Kurdistan map today; we have many individuals with private armies each, ready to replace Talabani as soon as he is dead.

It is shame for so called Kurdish intellectual to ask such questions.

The questions are when we as Kurds will put the interest of our people above our personal interest?

Kurdish nation produced traitors like Talabani and others can produce more traitors.

The end of the tunnel is darker than ever.

As Kurds we have to stop betraying one another for our own interest first. And then we can get along to establish few organizations with common goal to liberate our people and get along based on true free election and rule of laws with constitution like American constitution which incidentally produced by our Median Empire heritage.

    Long live Kurds and Kurdistan
