News from KT:
Leyla Zana, the Kurdish BDP MP who has spent more than 12 years in Turkish jails, spoke to journalists today before taking part in an unprecendented meeting with Turkish prime minister Erdogan.
Leyla announced that she is on the side of peace at all times and believes the current war (between the Turkish government and the PKK) will not continue indefinitely. There has to be peace at the end, she said.
Today’s meeting is part of a new attempt by the Turkish state to engage with the Kurdish parliamentary opposition and move towards a solution.

Positive move from the Turkish govt and let’s hope it results in real peace. War is never good.
We have always been on side of peace, but it is not coming. Hope… Maybe hope, which usually we have.
