YPJ Kurdish Women Fighters: A Day in Syria

Film by Rozh Ahmad:YPJ

Women fighters of the pro-Kurdish Yekineyen Parastina Jin (Women Protection Units: YPJ) tell their stories about why they joined up, the experience of combat and what they are fighting for in this women-only militia amidst the civil war in Syria.

KT Comment: This is Rozh Ahmad’s remarkable and moving short documentary about women from Syrian Kurdistan/Rojava who – alongside their male comrades in the YPG (Peoples Protection Units) – have resisted attacks by the ISIS jihadi-fascists for many months with no foreign support or air cover.

We urge you to watch every minute of this wonderful film about these Kurdish heroines who, as one of them so articulately explains, “cherish humanism”.

These are admirable and courageous women,
lets hope their action inspires other girls and women in countries where they are oppressed and treated like dirt, to take their destinies in hand and to really bring radical change to our phallocratic societies

Sanctions are not enough. States that support these Islamic rabid dogs must be harshly condemned and internationally penalized .they should be thrown out of the United nations and be considered as rabid dogs like the one they support.
The Islamic Rabid Dogs IRD, have proved to the world that they stop at nothing. They kill, rape, loot, destroy historical places, and burn libraries. They do these horrible actsto keep the population ignorant as they are . So no respectable government anywhere in the world should facilitate their crimes against humanity.
Qatar is in the list of states that support these rabid dogs. Has this state been blackmailed by IRD. How such NO country interfere inthe affairs of others. And Qatar, that tiny backward place , is it for fame or what prompts such a no body support a movement such iolentsasIRD under the cover of Islam?
Please anyone can give it a logical explanation? Eventually they will pay for it. And what is surprising the U.S. is fully awareofallthese crimes, yet keeps its forces I this tiny no place. This silencers tarnishing theUS government reord, whichwilltake a longtime to mend.
