KT News:
12 Kurds from the YPG (Committees for the Protection of the Kurdish People) in Rojava (Syria) died yesterday in battles with al Qaeda-linked terrorists, according the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The Kurd fighters were protecting their villages in the Hasake province from attacks by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and Al-Nusra Front.
According to the report, the jihadists suffered at least 29 casualties in yesterday’s round of fighting for control of the oil-rich territory.
